Thickened Ground Notes is a non-commercial editorial reading guide about tailings management vocabulary and public guidance, published in English at thickenedtailings.com. The desk behind it is described on the about page. The site holds no inventory, sells nothing, and offers no services.
Texts and quotations
The prose on this site is original to the desk. Short quotations from the two public documents it cites are used with attribution, under ordinary quotation practice, and remain the property of their publishers: the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management is cited with principle and requirement numbers, and the ICMM guide with chapter references, as detailed on the sources page. If a rights holder objects to a quotation, write to contact@thickenedtailings.com and the desk will trim or remove it.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is engineering, legal, investment or safety advice, and nothing should be relied on for decisions about any real facility. The notes summarise public guidance for readers; the guidance itself says it must be applied by accountable, qualified people to specific circumstances. The desk has no competence over any specific site and claims none.

The desk claims no affiliation with the Global Tailings Review, ICMM or any company, and no continuity with any previous owner of this domain.

If the underlying documents change, the desk re-verifies what it quotes and dates the correction.
